Yes, but mine has been just related to opening the project. However, it might effect your project if you have a lot of thumbnails on clips that need to be redrawn as you change track sizes and navigate the timeline…
Try turning off any kind of thumbnails on the clips that are on the timeline (if you have them on). I just discovered that if PPRO has to draw thumbnails when I open a particular project the canvas will show black and hang the program. Turning the thumbnails off or reducing the track size has removed the problem. Let me know if that helps.
I have been trying to figure out what triggers it on my system. I have had to revert to PPRO CC (2013) to get any work done. I won’t use 2014 until an update….
Windows Users: We’re aware of a bug in Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2014 with Magic Bullet Looks causing a hang when opening saved projects and trying to resume editing. We’ve narrowed down the issue to an incompatibility with using Accelerated Plug-Ins and Magic Bullet Looks.
