Is your Project audio stereo or surround? If it’s surround (and I’m guessing you don’t need it), set it to stereo and see if that fixes it.

Not sure how big your projects are. But, you could simply create a new project and then copy and paste each of the other projects into the new one.

Did you read my reply? Sony suggesting you only use their own SDHC adapter for emergencies.
I suggested you use what Sony offers and supports. What are your concerns about not following Sony’s suggestions?

I’m assuming the same 9 keywords you are referring to are the ones that come up in the keyword editor. They are the nine keywords that are assigned to the keyword shortcut keys CTL 1-9. FCP X automatically assigns the first 9 you create to the keyboard shortcuts. But, you can edit these anytime you want.
You can create as many keywords as you want. (not sure if there is actually a limit) Every time you create a new keyword (assign it to a clip) you will get a new keyword collection.
I personally don’t bother with the short cut keys, I typically have a lot more than 9 keywords. I simply highlight the clip (or portion of it) that I want to assign a keyword to and start typing it in the keyword editor. It auto fills for you, so just hit enter. Do that for as many keywords as you want to assign to each clip. (or portion of the clip)
I think you’re missing out on the advantages of keywords with the way you’re using folders. Keywords are a powerful way to organize your media. FCP X does a lot of work for you. Folders are more of a manual way of organizing your material.
Also, having a keyword for Night Parade and a folder for it is redundant.Consider using keywords in place of your folders. For example, Magic Kingdom, Makeover, Parade & Park could be keywords, not folders. You can assign multiple keywords (even overlapping keywords) to your clips. Then when you are looking at all you clips (DisneyUSA Event) you can type Makeover in the search field and all your clips with those keywords will show up. Including Parade Etc, if in fact it’s a subset of Darcie, which is a subset of Makeover.
I suggest you try it out. Duplicate your current project and test it.

It’s very odd why Apple does not have a decent PDF for FCP X.

Obviously, you have to print it and Save As PDF …
You should also check out some of the books on FCP X on Amazon. While they aren’t free, they are useful references.

I figured it would be safest to get Sony accessories for a Sony camera.
You could probably save a few bucks buying non-Sony. But, given the cost of the camera, why?
If you run into an issue, it can be quite costly.
If you wind up calling Sony about it, they might ask if you’re using what they recommend. And they don’t even recommend using their own SD adapter, except for emergency.
Sorry, but I haven’t tried anything other than Sony.

I had this discussion several years ago, different forum, with someone who I felt understood this more than I did. It was in that discussion that I came (or was brought) to the conclusion that you can’t get something from material when it’s not there. (or something like that)
If it was sampled at 4:1:1, you’re not going to benefit from capturing it at 4:2:2. The detail simply isn’t there.
