    Hi Kel,

    It happened to me twice and both time I thought the LCD was broken (you can still see the picture but barely blacked out, right?).
    In my case, it fixed both time by pushing “LCD B. Light” button to ON (I don’t know how it switched to OFF).

    Good if it was that for you as well (better that than sending back to Sony or resetting all settings!).
