Sorry to pull up an old topic but I had the same question and noticed that I could select a group of compositions, right click and choose ‘New Comp from selection…’

Then I checked ‘Sequence layers’.

The order was reversed when selecting the folder of compositions, but selecting the compositions themselves seemed to work.

Hi Todd, thanks so much for the help, the only issue is that I need to do a word by word animation on the text using animators/range selectors, I assume then, this may not quite be possible with the layer style?
