Thanks for the help guys.
I’m an outside guy and don’t spend everyday at the location with the AVIDs, so it took me a few days to get back here.
Thanks on the import / file>Open tip… On my drive home I thought about that as the option.
I did move a handful of files over and imported the project and those clips appeared! So… it works, just as both of you suggested.
A couple of follow up questions.
In addition to the OMFI folder & files on the media drives, there seems to be another folder set that I did not create!
\AVID MediaFiles\
\AVID MediaFiles\1\
\AVID MediaFiles\1\MXF
\AVID MediaFiles\1\MXF\Creating
The odd thing about this is I can’t seem to move or delete the files in this folder. I’ve attempted this while the MC program is not running.
Even more odd is in that main folder is all the files that I copied to this system and then I thought I imported in the OMFI folder. I have checked the OMFI media folder, and none of these files are in there.
The only other files are a handful of MXF files that are really old and the typical database files, both are located in the MXF folder.
I am fairly certain that I did move them to the OMFI folder once they were all on the local system.
Any thoughts on what this folder is?
I haven’t tried to move the files after a reboot, or in safe mode yet… as I am copied a load of files from the next project.
