Thanks Peter! I’m going to try that tonight when I get home. I just hope my old graphics card, GeForce FX 5200, can handle it.

Forgot to mention that I need the rays to covers the entire edges of the imported text jpeg. The picture I gave doesn’t really do that.

No, I’m looking for something like the photo in the link below, but more intense.

When I select the “Light Rays” filter I get parts of the image (imported text jpg) coming forward with the rays.

I looked at the TC 24 column and you were right on, they were blank. I couldn’t get the exact way you described to work so I just copied/paste the TC 24 from another flex file that had that info. I created the EDL with no problem.

    You’re the best! Thanks!!!

Great! Will do first thing when I get into work on Monday morning. Thanks!

Now do you think I should do it to only the clips that gave me zero timecodes in the EDL or could all the clips be off, thus I should do this for every clip?

I’m working in NTSC 24p. But I see the source timecodes for over 400 clips in the EDL. Just not these several problem clips. All the clips were imported from another drive. I copied the files over to my drive.

I’m back at work in the morning. I guess I should look in the bin under the TC24 column to see if the problem clips are missing info there. If so, do I manually type in the timecode? I do have the tapes which I did not need because I had them on file. I could digitize the problem shots and re-cut them in to see if that works.

Yes there are values listed such as in clip name, etc. Just the source timecodes are missing for several shots. It

The adapter I bought connects a monitor with an ADC cable to a DVI Computer input. It should be the other way around. I should have an adapter that connects a DVI monitor to an ADC computer input. Is there two different kind of adapters? I didn’t see that option online or at the store.

    This is what I bought.:
