Yes exactly. I want a source file with max frame rate etc that I can use if I ever need to do additional renders.

UPDATE:

I zoomed into my footage before and after adding keylight effect and it (keylight) definitely caused the actor to glisten. I’ve played through a few keyframes with and without keylight and I can see the difference.

I’ve gone through all the recommended settings and it doesn’t improve.

Whenever I import the AE comp into Prem Pro, I lose all my green screen work.

So my idea was to put the project together using Prem Pro, then export to AE and add my custom bg with keylight. I’ve tried rendering the AE project using AME but it discards the green screen work. When I import into Prem Pro the same thing happens.

What am I doing wrong?

How do I build my project and green screen with AE without having to use AE to render?

I think I figured it out:

1. New Project Prem Pro
2. Edit
3. Import Prem Pro Project into After Effects
4. Edit (chrome key etc)
5. Import AE project back into Prem Pro
6. Render (AME)

That about right?
