    I signed up to this forum just to thank you for the info in this thread.

    I was have the same render problems in Vegas 8b…and was stressing. I just got a new Quad core computer with 6 RAM, how can this be? Searching for a solution I found this.

    Anyhow, I just uninstalled 8b…went back to 8a and now I’m rendering like a champ.
