One more question. What rendering template should I use. Can I use DVD NTSC or do I have to use DVD Architect NTSC Video Stream. If so how do I render the audio separately. When I used Vegas 5 I just used the default template and made a few changes to it.(I had to upgrade because we installed a Blackmagic capture card but I’m not capturing with it yet.) I just don’t understand how the rendered file can be 3 to 4 gigs and then when I drop it in DVDA it jumps up to 5 to 7 gigs. I’m sure it’s just the way I’m rendering it but I need a little help on what template to use. By the way, my videos are about a hour and a half and a menu with an intro and 1 menu. It’s just for scene selection. I’m not looking for super high quality but something that will look good on a large screen TV.

No, I’m rendering it from an AVI to an MPEG-2 and that is the file that I’m dropping into DVDA and it’s still too big. The problem is I think I’m using the wrong template. Also,I don’t know if I should use a variable bit rate or a constant bit rate. I want to have good quality but I’ll sacrifice some of it as long as it will fit onto my DVD. All I want is an MPG that will fit on to a 4.7 DVD for mass duplication. Thanks for your help.
