When I used to capture with my old Windows 2000 system (Canopus), DV Storm would perform a ‘seamless’ capture and log the clips into (for instance) 6 or 7-minute clips. The entire tape would be captured. This permitted me to easily mark in and out points in the preview window. Needless to say putting an entire seamless capture in Premiere Pro would increase editing time. -KS
