    I realize this thread is 3 months old but I am experiencing problems with .MOV files in Premiere Pro CC 2014 as well. Once dropped in a sequence it takes a couple of minutes before I can start playback. No problems with the same files in Premiere Pro CC. Seeing a lot of “media pending” in the Program monitor. Working on a simple project is taking way too long.
