March 12, 2015 at 8:23 pm in reply to: Can’t load or cut clips in premiere cc trial???I will need a little more information on what exactly you’re doing to help you more than this, but to start:
Go to file>new>sequence, and try to create a sequence. Once it is created target the track and then insert/overwrite. make sure that the timeline is not locked.

There are two things you can do.
If you make a selection of just the text itself, with a tool like the magic wand (w) >>right click inside selection>> select inverse>> delete –
That will delete everything except the text, and it will be on a layer on its own.
Or,
If you have the text/image you want to move to a new document selected >>Crtl+c>> Ctrl+n>> Change the Preset to ‘clipboard’>> Create file.
‘Clipboard’ will be the exact dimensions of anything you have recently copied or cut.

Maybe a nice vignette of the hundred acre wood. Something with yellows, and ocre’s for sure, something to make it look or feel like the warm fuzzy feelings people get from Beer and from Winnie the pooh.
A pattern of honey pots could do nicely. Or a line-up of plush toys.

What kind of effects are you looking to achieve? Do you have a tablet with pen pressure? Which brushes have you installed?
Some Basics:
Remember that Alt, or CMND and clicking will give you the alternate function of any tool. From Brush, this is the color picker. The Color Picker will help you blend colors/pick up local color more quickly.A lower opacity on top of an already flat color will produce a smoother transition to value ranges.

You might be looking for a vignette. There are many ways to make one. If you want exactly what was in image A on image B I would do the following:
Put both images in the same file, on different layers>> Use the magic wand tool (w) set to 0-10 tolerance click on the white edge in image A>> click on your layer for Image B and hit delete.
The vignette from A will not be applied to B

March 12, 2015 at 5:42 pm in reply to: “Mirror Gradient” busted? : same effect as “Linear Gradient”It could be the placement of the gradient. A Mirror gradient needs to be placed at the center of any given selection as opposed to the edge with a linear gradient.
Do you have any screen grabs or specifics on the process you’re using?

The problem might be the number or types of layers you’re using in the image. You should save a copy>> merge visible layers>>image>mode>CMYK.
