Thanks. But, zooming will not work. The camera begins at a location comparable to an airliner then comes down to the altitude of a low flying helicoptor. We start on a map view then come down to the helicopter view, then we dissolve to the arial.
My problem is navigating at the helicoptor level, because we are so close to the target object, the map, we are so close that the smallest of position changes made to the camera has the effect of moving it a couple of blocks.
So, I need the map to get big, really big. My latest is scaling the map way the hell up to 13,000 x 13,000 in Illustrator. I get a faster render speed than I did when I scaled up in after effects. But, it is still too slow and getting the animation and the arial footage to match is tedious.
Has anyone tried this technique.
