I have a question related to using Audacity with Sony Vegas/Movie Studio. John – maybe you can help me? I was able to do just what you explained above. However, I find that the new audio track only “sticks” in the timeline. I have many clips to edit and some are quite long. I would like to replace the audio (it has a horrible buzzing noise) and then edit the clip and create smaller subclips. Is there a way to replace bad audio in the timeline and then create a new event that shows up in Project Media? I tried replacing the audio and creating a subclip which then shows in Project Media but when I play it – the old bad audio is still there.
