    this worked perfectly. Thanks!

    no! don’t need to delete!

select wrongly labelled clips, clip, modify, source and when the reel list comes up either select the correct reel or create a new one then click ok to the 76 patronising messages that follow!

no need to relink, unlink or recapture, its an easy mistake, in fact there are many instances when you may need to change a reel number, assistants being the most common!

There are many sequences. I have approx. 1TB of media and numerous SD footage. I have consolidated in the past, however this project is huge and they (studio) need all the footage we have.

Thanks for your help I totally appreciate it.

I have over 200 bins. Should I do that for each bin. I would think there’s an easier way. I would like to do it from the finder level is that possible.

Solved! In General Settings I checked USE WINDOWS COMPATIBLE FILE NAMES and the font change from red to black. Now they open in the project window. Duh!

I understand you can offline in HD as well. If you shoot 1080p you could use Avid DN x HD 36 (smallest codec). Just be sure you shoot the same frame rate for both camera’s you shouldn’t have a problem
