I produce a show for the outdoor channel and I continually run into the network compressing my audio making it sound flat. I am running the whole audio level around -20 to -12 with their guidelines being
-8 max. The bass whether it be guitar or drum pedals is made flat by the network. I need someones audio help and experience.

I film on Ex 1’s, where do I get the adapter for the Transcend cards?

I have tried to restore the footage from my hard drives to the camera cards, then shoot one clip….that did not work for me but that is what Sony is saying to do. Adobe tells me that in a month or less they will have a downloaded driver that can handle the Mpeg 4. I am no help but stand next to you with my fingers crossed.

Please dont follow my lead. Here at Double Bull we have unfortunately found that if you dump the cards to an external hard drive you may not be able to recover them into Clip Browser. If you load immediately through the clip browser then export them as mfx files you can work with them.

I can not get any of our clips from the external hard drive to import either into my AVID studio or our new Matrox Axio system. MP4’s are not accepted.

If anyone has a work around let me know.

Need help getting by or through the clip browser.
Just started using Adobe Premier CS3 and Sony PMW EX1.

I was filming and ran out of card space. So I hooked up the card reader and moved the footage to an external hard drive. Now when I try to import the footage into Adobe I get error messages. I also can not see the clips in the clip browser to export them into MFX files. Someone on this post mentioned not having to use the clip browser.

Please send help.
