The Beta 2 version did indeed solve the issue and I am now able to export interlaced clips. Thanks everyone for your help.

Hi there,

Yes, we have tried both of those things. It still outputs a progressive clip.

Hiya, thanks for getting back to me:

In MediaInfo the file information for our Resolve delivered clip is:
Scan Type: Progressive

Whereas our footage normally reads:
Scan Type: Interlaced
Original Scan Type: Progressive
Scan type, store method: Interleaved fields
Scan order: Top field first.
(The original Scan Type and Scan order fields do not appear for the Resolve delivered clip).

We are sure that the checkbox for ‘Field rendering’ is being unchecked upon us clicking ‘Start Render’. We have used DaVinci Resolve 11 to export these clips before without this problem.

Any thoughts?
