I did a software update on my computer and it worked.

Go to the apple icon at the top left corner of your screen
->select “Software Update”

In the “details” there should be a FCP update. If so, click “install.” Fcp should then update to 5.1.4. Automatically. If not, try something else?

Kristen gave me a solution: do a software update on your computer. Fcp should then update to 5.1.4. Automatically. Good luck!

Hi,

Has anyone had success getting the FCP 5.1.4 update?

I have 5.1, my coworker has 5.1.4, I absolutely need to be able to open her 5.1.4 projects. I do not have an ftp or any such space.

Hoping that this thread isn’t too old & someone out there can help. If so, I’m at katiehipp@gmail.com
