June 21, 2006 at 10:27 pm in reply to: Welcome Ryan Steely to the Photoshop/Illustrator COW leadership team[Kim Mackenzie] “I don’t see your head at the top of the page anymore… ?”
Ryan volunteered and then immediately got a project that was taking all of his time, so we thought it best that he wait until he had more time to come on as a leader.

[Jim Zito] “Awesome! Thanks a bunch. I’m still curious what happened to them on the Cow. Hopefully they won’t remove tutorials every time someone leaves here.”
John asked us to remove them when he left. We had to honor his request.

Our Illustrator forum is combined with the Photoshop forum: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator. You can find it in the list with the other Adobe products.

As far as I know, there is no part three. Why do you feel it needs to be finished?

June 1, 2006 at 12:40 am in reply to: Loose change and new plugin offerings…What would you do?? Big fat oops post…This question has been discussed so much. Perhaps you could do a search to find out what favorite plugins your peers love.
Also, to clarify. The leaders that have volunteered for the calf are NOT newbies and people just starting out. A lot of very knowledgeable people — well, seasoned graphic artists hang out over there to help answer this kind of question and others that get asked over and over.

This has been discussed so many times. I would suggest doing a search –Search Posts in the green navigation bar to the left. Use the advanced features and search all the posts including the archives. I also like to use the settings: Show Message Text=Yes. That way, you can just glance through the discussions and find the ones that interest you.
The general suggestion also includes downloading demos of each program and trying them out. Each person often has a certain style that generates understanding in a certain workflow.
