Brian, sorry to hear the timing wasn’t optimal for you, but hopefully you’ve gotten some value from v1 during the last 6 months. For the record, Avid’s AVX plug-in interface still doesn’t support Alpha processing at all, so plug-in developers are stuck experimenting with their own methods for doing this. Yeah, we are looking at various options, but easiest and quickest would be if Apple would support AE plug-ins as usual recompiled as universal binary for compatibility and possibly a nice speedup…

It looks like FCP on Mac Intell currently doesn’t support any AE plug-ins. We hope Apple will resolve this, but they have not said what their future plans are for this.
