With the new release of DaVinci Resolve 19, I see a &#8216;super scale&#8217; upscaling feature built into DVR 19 that also uses AI.   I also see that there is a 4x NVIDIA RTX Video option for those of us with fast NVIDIA cards.</p>
<p>Does anyone have experience with both, such&hellip;</p>

(I have never used &#8216;conform lock&#8217; previously.)  My only regret here is that it appears I can&#8217;t select and conform-lock multiple clips simultaneously &#8230; I need to work through the timeline clip-by-clip.  </p>

<p>For anyone who has a similar problem—trying to play your own edited 4K or HD MP4 videos through an A/V receiver for improved audio (vs. playing through a TV), I ended up purchasing the Dune-HD Magic 4K Plus.  I&#8217;m very happy with this unit.</p>
<p>I connected the Dune-HD via HDMI out to the Marantz &#8216;media p&hellip;</p>

<p>Edit Tab &gt; Playback &gt; Timeline Proxy Resolution &gt; (Try &#8220;Half&#8221; or &#8220;Quarter&#8221;).  This only affects timeline playback resolution, nothing else.</p>

<p>The audio clip was originally sampled at 44.1.  I used Audacity to resample up to 48 (Audacity makes re-sampling very easy.)  The problem continued with the up-sampled 48 kHz clip.  </p>
<p>I added a separate audio track for this new 48 kHz clip, used the audio waveforms to visually sync with the video, and ran a&hellip;</p>

The audio clip plays normal speed outside of DVR as a .WAV file or .MP3 file.  The clip plays normal speed in the edit preview window of DVR (upper-left corner of the edit tab).  The audio clip plays normal speed in the fairlight tab.</p>

The final AMD-rendered files are 40%-50% smaller than the same files rendered via the Intel i9.</p>
<p>Why would the final AMD-rendered file size be so much smaller?  Am I sacrificing video quality using the AMD Radeon RX 570 video card?</p>

Thank you for all of your suggestions.  See my previous response to Paul—when I rendered through the AMD Radeon RX 570 card &#8230; problem solved.</p>
<p>I will look at all of your suggested settings to determine if these variables change the outcome in any way.</p>
