    Hi Graham,

I appreciate the response and I’m sorry for not logging on here to thank you sooner. To be honest, I never did end up finding a solution although we came up with a few ideas. Turns out we don’t need to perform this export any more, but if I ever do I’ll certainly give your workflow a last resort try. Does sound like a pain though 🙂

  • Hi Graham,

Did you ever figure this one out? I currently am tasked with capturing an HD SR tape and exporting it as this exact type of file: MXF Op1a wrapper, DVCProHD (1080i) codec, 100Mbps, PCM Wave audio (10 channels Lt/Rt, DV Lt/Rt, 5.1).

I am looking into Telestream Episode and have emailed their team to see if they can confirm if this works. I am a bit discouraged because I don’t think Episode can handle audio tracks very well. The manual for Episode says that it combines audio tracks, saying specifically that a QuickTime input with 2 Stereo Tracks will result in an output file with 4 channels in a single track.

Greatly appreciate if anyone has any ideas. Not sure if there are any rules on this site re: consulting fees, but I’m pretty desperate and if anyone can help solve this problem I would owe you one.
