Thanks for your post and this work around…I am on FCP 6.05 and would love access to the prores 422LT. I did the steps detailed in this post, and now see prores 422LT as an option in mpeg streamclip, but not in FCP. In FCP, I opened the log and transcode window and under the preference pane looked for the 422LT in the canon eos drop down menu but did not see the option (only see previous options: 422HQ/422, and no LT). Is there another way I should be navigating, or looking? Did I miss a step to activate this, to be able transcode to 422LT in FCP?

[i did clear my user settings and restart the computer, just in case]

My workflow involves footage shot on a Canon 5dii, hence looking at the EOS plug in area.
