I don’t get it. What problems does AVID have? They are the premier solution for filmmakers who want speed and flexibility in their editing package. Sure, you can use FCP, or Premier, but try rendering at the speed with which you can with an AVID system using a Nitris breakout box.
Just because you and the original author of this thread, don’t possess the technical knowledge or comprehension of AVID’s integration into an editing workflow, doesn’t mean you should spout off against what you don’t understand.
Maybe you should ask questions rather than trying to sound like you know what you’re talking about and then putting your title on your signature line as if that should indicate to us that you automatically know what you’re talking about.
At least the original author of this thread asks questions and doesn’t attempt to come across as knowledgeable about what they don’t know.
