Hey Andrew,

Okay, you’re maybe right. In my thoughts, if I wanted to travel in 3D space with those monitors, I’d take the closer one to the “camera” (’cause I wouldn’t create one) and I would parent this monitor to all of the further monitors. Then, I’d just play with the Z axis of the first, so all the others follow. But I wouldn’t parent them to drop independently, logically.

Hey, relax bud, ‘just giving my way of doing it, and it would work just fine.

Don’t forget you have to parent all of the monitor to the first one. That would be a lot more easier.

With a little bit of time and twiking, it should look like this.

I simply used the Remove Grain effect and Magic Bullet’s fantastic Look Suite. But it looked great even before I applyed MB. I’m not Andrew Kramer, but hey, 🙂 Looks great anyways.

Well, Chris, with all my respect, and correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t think that would be hard.

One and easy way of doing it would be; when your tracked object will be going off edges of your video, set your feature region somewhere else on your video footage so it can still follow the movement.

Be careful to put your featured region so it follows the same speed and velocity as the tracked point. I’d start by precomposing and adjusting my video footage by making it 1200X900 (4:3 ratio) and by making your comp pourcentage to 50%. This will adjust the size of your video footage so you will be able to track easier when it’s outside the comp in the blank areas. Adjust the featured region, frame by frame, until your tracked point comes back into the comp.

The other way would be to go in your Motion Tracker Option window and to bring choose the Extrapolation Motion option, below 95%.
