Would this 35mm canon/nikon lens be compatible with my camera? Like, will it fit the normal lens of the fx7?

So far? I like it. Way better than the on board mic of the FX7.

We don’t really have a sound guy around because our band normally plays in family gatherings.

I just want cool depth of field to make my videos better. The one that you get in canon 7d’s? DLSR have great depth of field. And I’m gonna use it in my short films.

My bad guys but I just needed an all around mic and this is the one suggested. And I don’t put it on top of my camera as you guys said. I bought a boompole. And I don’t care if the mono is as good as the stereo as long as the Rode SVM is way better than the on board mic on my camera. I just wanted some suggestions on how can I make my dialogues better by using the Rode Svm.

And btw, the rode mono mic sucks at recording live bands so that’s one factor why i didn’t buy it.
    My bad Ty.

    Hey guys!

I ended up buying the Rode Stereo Videomic. It works really great. It’s really an all around mic. I got the VC1 extension cable too. So I won’t board it on my camera. Thanks guys for the respond!

Hey Ty, Nice video about the Rode Stereo Videomic too.

I now have the Rode Stereo Videomic and it sounds great! It’s really an all-around microphone.

I would also use it in my short films too though. Does it still do a good job in capturing dialogues?

    ps: Thanks for the suggestion!
