thanks for the response, what I am looking for is the name of software that I should buy to allow me to ftp from a hotel room using the ethernet or airport-can forget dialup not pratical other than using my mobile phone.

What information must I get form the IT dept to allow me to connect to the server?

Hi What I would like to know if FCE will allow me to import a clip into the timelime and shorting the timeline and the 2 audio tracks, left and right together.

What I am looking for is, I have on minidv tape all the inserts I have editied with the presenter voice on one track and interviews and natural sound on the other track, will FCE import onto the timelime the 2 tracks as seperate tracks allowing me to adjust each track independently?
