    So it does sound like I need the IMX50 codec, even if digitizing via sdi?

    Couldn’t i just digitize via KONA2 SDI 10 bit UC…..from the xdcam deck and drop it in a 10bit UC timeline. Why would FCP need to have the IMX50 codec info??

    Just curious if IMX 50 can be captured into FCP 4.5 via an xdcam device through SDI out.

    Is this possible?

    Is it possible for this FCP reference movie to embed the info of the sequence it came from, so that when it is opened, the original cuts will be there on the timeline?
