Thanks for your help and yes,.I’m new to editing (and loving it) BUT,…my manual has bugger all on the De-Interlacing and neither does the FCP “HELP?” part.

I’ve added the filter but now I’m confused again. In the field pop up menu, which do I pick?? Upper (Odd) or Lower (Even)?

I forgot to add too,..I run on PAL.

But how do I fix the problem? “Interlacing” is new to me? Any tips?
