    Hi all again….
Sorry to keep alive this one but still i am trying to understand and making test and nothing is coming up from there…. Is just a strange thing happening and i would love to find out why… Below is a link of a youtube video i updated to see the problem i am talking about. Without any reason, the render queue from AE is making this jumping in the lighting that from that point affect to all composition. At the video only frist jump. Maybe this will give better idea of what i am talking about and then any of the “masters” will be able to give a possible reason for it…

    Thanks for all the help.

    Hi Dave,
Thanks a lot for your answer… The Panasonic has a personal code for the files when shooting in P2 mode call XML or something like that…. The files used at my project can not be those ones cause are not recognize by mac, actually mac does not even open it. Basically the proccess is that FCP makes the convertion from XML to MOV, what is the file format that i have at my project. According to what you are saying in your answer, maybe is a AE problem with those files converted from panasonic format? I don’t really know, but if that is the case then is good to know for next time selection of what camera HD to use to shoot. I normally use redone and with it 2K material result never have a problem…

ok…. even more strange thing… just discover that the bug is given when exporting using the render queue. If using FILE/EXPORT, then computer export without the jumping of the light and/or the flashing thing…. Anybody that had before such problem????

    Hi David,
Thanks for you quick answer. Unfortunately i don’t think is a media capture problem cause 2 reasons: 1.- FInal cut deal with it without problem. 2.- AE was dealing OK until the bug appears… with all of the shoots/takes…. Just appear suddenly. And also i have other compositions with other shoots for other graphic designs and media is ok in terms of brightness and contrast. Of course if i apply brightness/contrast adjustment layer can correct that, but i was trying to understand why AE suddenly reacts like that as there is no logic explanation for it…

I just want to update the problem a bit… After making on screen like 2 or 3 flashes (flashes with a result of washing the picture in that shoot, like loosing brightness and contrast according the other shoots and how was that shoot before the bug) now the al shots are like that… Picture wash…

Ok…… Thanks very much to all of you for your support and specially to Kevin…

So i made your suggestion with the riser and now computer rode then perfectly. But also i had a problem that didn’t saw before and is that in preferences, at RAM percent i had only 305 MB….. So i increased to 67% (2GB) and my AE is back to his normal working speed…

    Again millions of thanks….

Hi again and thanks for all your support Kevin,
When i received the 4x4GB RAM i was installing them 2x4GB in each riser (and without the previous RAM 1GB and 512 MB), but i don’t know for what strange reason, MACPRO was only reading the A raiser 2x4GB and appear the B raiser like empty.

I will try tomorrow again and see what happens….
