I guess what I’m trying to say is that I don’t want shadows cast onto the background, only onto the objects beneath it.

Ahhh I forgot to put a light in front, it was just being illuminated from behind the layer. Duh!!

Sorry-
The AI file is about 1.5GB and the .EPS is about 2GB. I tried scaling it down and the file size still remains the same. I also tried taking out a lot of the gradients in it, and the file size is the same… I don’t know what’s going on

I’m using CS4 and AIFF for audio. Everything goes back to normal after I restart the computer. But I’d still like to know what causes the problem.
I DID have OpenGL on, I will try turning it off for the rest of the day and see what happens.
