    Thanks!

I have MC6.5 and I can now turn it off.

  • I’d like to know how to keep MC from accessing my BM card since I only use it for Resolve?

    Thanks Shane.

  • I’m going to bump this thread. I too would like I know if there is a way to by pass the BM card. Even if I have to edit a file or anything I don’t want MC using my BM card.

Resolve requires a little more prep in the round trip workflow. It’s not as tightly integrated with FCP as Color is.

I suggest you remove your titles and place them and the audio back in after importing the XML from Resolve and selecting 720 so that your media is scaled properly.

Can you take a screen shot of your node graph?

    Update:

Reinstalled card (just card, not drivers) after testing in MacPro and it’s working. I’m just waiting for it to stop working. Also Media Express is having issues remembering its preferences. Any ideas?

Thanks Jean! I just need a monitoring solution right now and later I’ll upgrade to Extreme…if I need it. I appreciate your help.

  • Thanks for the reply, some good insight. I keep going back and forth between both. I’m looking at the literature from Black Magic for both panels and how the buttons are mapped and it looks like the Wave panel has more options available without having to flip pages as deep as the Artist panel. I’m wondering if there is anyone who has used both for Resolve and if they prefer on over the other and why?

  • Thanks Joseph.

While I’d love to get a Resolve dedicated panel, that’s just not going to happen right now. So, since I’m moving from Color to Resolve, I’m really just wondering what would allow me better access to Resolve? I’m leaning toward the Artist Color panel, with it’s smaller footprint, but if I can do more with Tangent Waves in Resolve then I’ll gladly sacrifice form for function.

I’m somewhat familiar with other programs that support the panels, but I’m mainly concerned with Resolve.
