    Wildmangoose, I don’t see why you didn’t compare Avid to other PC based software, if a PC is what you want to edit on.

    But otherwise, what Pixel Monkey said is correct. If you prefer FCP that is fine. I don’t see a question here.

    Also I should add her book is for 8.5 but you can download the R9 updates to the book from her website for free.

    Check out: CINEMA 4D : The Artist’s Project Sourcebook (Digital Media Academy Series)by Anne Powers. It’s really fun and you’ll get the gist of what C4d can do. Much more interesting than modeling an electrical plug!

    I am not sure this is so in 6.0, but it is in 7.5… and I bet it hasn’t changed. Anyway, under ‘Help’ you’ll find ‘Keyboard Shortcuts’. It links to a PDF file of the shortcuts which you can print.

    You can also map the keyboard under ‘File’ ‘Command Mapping’.
