Are you rendering files with audio? There is any issue with multitrack audio in prp5.5 and earlier.

Ive been playing with it for a while. As I was on the beta. It’s quite nice. Tools are very different from resolve, but just as powerful for most 2d/video tasks. Only limitation is just quirkyness of avx and plugin nature of the soft. Well that and the difficulty using raw formats, applying grades across reels.
There is a demo available on their site, check it out to see if it will work for you. It is a very different approach to grading from that used by resolve for example.
And performance of course is nowhere near a dedicated system. Thought still quite good for a plugin.

As with everything, the question of whether it’s good enough all depends on what you expect to be able to do. Much more important than the raid controller and disk array is the graphics card.

Switch to track mode.

This already works in os x. All volumes are auto mounted in resolve. No need to add manually.

Hint: For additional sharpening effect add a sharpen to the HighPass image itself in node 3. For additional high pass sharpening add serial node after node 1 and blur away. Can also remove blur in node 1+6 to reduce effect.
Seems needlessly complex though. Can do the same thing in one node. 😉

Fcp XML Roundtrip, not fcpx. And you can add commercial workflow to the preset. But the point is to see if it’s an issue with your preset. Try any other preset is my point.

Is there anything unique about the 13th clip? Which version of the v9 beta are you running? Can you try just using the fcp XML round trip workflow preset to see if it exhibits the same behavior? Also use ‘Render All’ not mark in mark out at first, just to see if that is an issue.
