Thanks for this info. I looked in the Tools menu and didn’t see any options for Scripting. Is it hiding on me for some reason? How do I get it to show?

I was just looking at Vegas and couldn’t find any info about how to use scripts. Is there somewhere online that I could learn this?

Thanks Don. This is helpful. Can you give me a little more detailed info on the second option that you suggested? I think that’s what I did last time but I still can’t seem to get it to work this time.

Hi there. Thanks for your suggestion. So far, here’s what I’ve done:

I’ve installed the Morgan Codec software that was recommended but Vegas 7 (or 6 for that matter) still doesn’t recognize the video track but it does see the audio track.

I installed GSpot to examine the codec and it says that the proper codec is installed on my computer. What else could it be?

Any other ideas? I’m not sure what you were suggesting would cost $20. Could you be more specific? It seems that other suggestions that I’ve received make no mention of having to pay for a codec. Can’t you just download them for free? Regardless, it doesn’t seem to be a missing codec, at least not from what GSpot is telling me.
