Obviously, this hasn’t been fixed in CS5, because I have the same problem. I can’t believe that such an easy problem hasn’t been fixed yet.
I’m seriously starting to doubt whether it is just my workflow that is wrong. But then again, I tried every single approach without success. Furthermore, it magically works on some clips, but then on other clips it doesn’t!
It is just impossible to combine time remapping with other effects, which is of course very silly. So far, I’ve had mixed results:
– When applying extra effects to a remapped clip, the full clip just shows the first frame
– When applying extra effects to a remapped clip, it shows the remapping and extra effects. But the extra effects don’t appear corresponding to where I put the keyframes. Somehow it also seems to remap the effects. To be clear, it doesn’t matter in this case I organise the effects layers, remapping is always above other layers.
– Sometimes it just magically, unexplainably works…
