Nope, the sequence and default sequence are both set to 29.98, so that’s not the issue either.

My sequence setting and default sequence setting is set to 1080psf 23.98, so that isn’t the problem either.

Thanks for the reply, but AE is set to 29.976, so that isn’t the problem either.

Michael, are you sure stills still aren’t working? According to Apple’s new features list it says:
“You can now send most long, complex sequences — including scenes with still graphics, speed effects, multicam clips, and other advanced functions — directly to Color from Final Cut Pro, with no preparation required. Speed changes render faster when you send your graded sequence back to Final Cut Pro”

Yes, I’ve been looking forward to being able to use Color 1.5. I know that stills, speed changes, and sequences in general are supposed to go back and forth smoother. Any other major advancements you have noticed?

The only benefit of a real frame the would be if it were the exact size and aspect of the TV and you could use the shadows cast by the frame to simulate that of the TV.

Also, when shooting I would try to shoot fairly straight on at an angle where you will be able to find stills to comp in and don’t let the perspective change to much in your camera move or you will be stuck having some 3D objects and 3D tracking in there. In other words, if it starts straight on and then you should be seeing the side of the TV later in the shot, you are screwed.

Oh, you could also, try to turn depth of field on on your camera so the intersection point is a bit out of focus.

Not sure if this would do what you are looking for, but you could try putting a roughen edges on the layer that is intersecting the floor. Zaxwerks won’t do 3d displacement to my knowledge. Forge freeform will I believe, but not sure if this is what you are looking for. Particular would work for the dust/fog if you have that.
