Thanks for the quick response, I am learning more about green screening with every little project I get to work on, they are all mostly for volunteer stuff, but they help. I have one other question, in some of the examples I mentioned they had timelapse footage pass in front of the normal speed character, as if he was in the middle of the scene. Would this be really hard to do, or is there a technique that makes it possible?

Yeah, I want a legitimate copy, and I do want the CC effects as well. I am actually in the process of applying to get back into school for a masters degree, seminary actually, so I will try and find out if I can get the student discount once I get accepted. That way I can get CS4 and stay within my budget. Thanks for all the help.

I realize the zoom through the mountains was most likely done in a 3d program, I was wondering more about the effect of the silhouettes before and after that, mainly the one of the tiger like creature running up and then swiping the screen black. How would you do that animation? What program would you use to get a nice animation like that?
