You’re right. Quantize was off. I do turn on and off auto ripple from time to time and have only recently used the keyboard shortcut. I think what I did was click Options but held the mouse button and accidentally let go on the Quantize without realizing it. I will enable this now and come back to you if the issue persists. Thanks for the clarification on terms. I am zoomed in so far that each arrow to the left or right keeps me in the same frame for 2-3 arrow presses. But the same issue is present even if I’m zoomed out.

Thanks, Mr. Rofrano, I have corrected the issue. But now I have questions regarding convenience.

Say I have a movie with about 100 split clips and I want to remove clip 30 and have all the rest slide down. Is there a fast way to do that other than holding Ctrl and selecting each one and sliding them down/using Select Events to end (because sometimes you don’t want to select every event to the end)?

Now say I have a movie with about 100 split clips all with text added using the Insert Text Media. I want to change the shadowing/font/font color for all them at once. Is there a way other than the obvious way of doing them each separately manually, or is there a shortcut for this? God, I hope there is.
