Kind of an embarassing error: had the Horizontal Scale at 0%… sorry for wasting everyone’s time.

Nevermind, a bit of playing around with the ‘CC Particle World’ effect did the trick.

How would I create this though? Would I just have the audio come in before I made anything visual in the composition happen? Still a little lost.
