    hello jordi,

    could you please explain what you mean with “just pasting the edited cuts on to this new sequence” described in your solution?

    i tried to copy and paste all clips to the new timeline but that’s obviously not what you mean because this didn’t change anything in the exported edl file.

  • I am having very frequent crashes too with Vegas Pro 8.0c and my new Vista x64 running on Core-i7 12 Gb RAM. I cannot really lay off more than 10-15 seconds of even 1280×720 output. My source is 1920×1080 30p. The crash is happening sooner if I have a transition or multiple video tracks in the loop region. It’s pretty much unusable now…

    Hey. I had the same problem. Just figured out how to fix it and so I figured I’d share the knowledge.

    Edit –> Preferences –> Audio Hardware –> ASIO Settings. From there just make sure all the devices are checked.

    mine says its:
    Vegas movie studio platinum
    version 8.0d (build 139)

    So i guess i have to get 8.0b?
    correct?

    it came from my friends camera.
    to be exact he said it was a:
    sony 3.2 mega pixel cyber shot
