Thanks! Media Info looks like a great tool. And I didn’t know that you could form a sequence on the clip. However, I’m still having issues. The video settings in media info do not match premiere, and if i try to interpret the footage in premiere to fix that, the footage just gets distorted. The audio and video will play perfectly fine in MPEG Streamclip or Quicktime, but once imported into Premiere, the audio and video are out of sync. So, now, even if I create a new sequence or interpret the footage, the audio and video are too distorted to do anything. If I create a new sequence to match, the audio is normally spoken (although its cut short) and the video is choppy and out of sync. If I interpret the footage to what it should be, the video plays perfectly, but the audio is slowed down (and dropped pitches with it). So, should I just abandon .mp4 in premiere? or is there something to do for this?
