Alright, well, I think I’ve gotten it as good as I can rendering the 24pA stuff directly to a 60i file. . .there’s still an interlaced looking frame every 5 frames, but I haven’t found a better look yet. . .so maybe that’s it.
Now I’m having a new issue.
For some strange reason, I’m getting these “half fields” on all my footage in my final 60i timeline. What I mean by half fields is that on the afformentioned interlaced looking frames on any given clip, instead of the lines of resolution on the. . .uh. . .”ghost field” being two lines apart, they’re four lines apart, and it looks horrible in motion. If I take the same clip, with the same FX, and paste into an empty 60i project’s timeline, no problem. Can’t find any settings/preferences that would be making this happen. The only thing I’ve known to make this happen is cropping and zooming in on a clip, then outputting to 60i. This is happening all clips, cropped or not.
