there was a problem with log and transfer that makes it crash, and it was that you had to turn airport off, and it worked fine, so try that

I meant system specs click the apple on top left corner, and click about this mac, and tell what it is, but you need to make sure that the mts files are actually imported from the camera into final cut with log and transfer and it will make it fit your project settings, and hopefully speed it up. if anything is unrendered, then it won’t playback well

hello, you can easily apply an effect to one clip, then select all the clips except that one with command a
then just drag the effect from the preview window. hope it works!
