I hope this image explains my issue better. On the left hand side is a still from when the footage looks normal, on the right, where it jumps. I bumped the line right under the time/date on the left side, and on the right you can see it goes up a bit!

Yeah after reading about the Blackmagic I kept seeing stuff about a time base corrector. Where would I get one of these? Is there a capture card that has something like that built in?

Wow thank you for the speedy reply! I have not captured in years so I felt rusty as to what to look for! I will definitely give this a look!

Yes something similar to Loupedeck. As far as hardware…I have plenty of processing power and ram etc. I was just curious about something like loupedeck or others out there, if anyone has used them, etc.

I was at my local friendly Costco and saw a pair of Bose headphones and it got my mind wandering. Since my cheap headphones at home are on the outs (only one side works, ugh lol)I was thinking about “treating” myself to a nice pair that would be good for editing.

The Costco ones are:

Bose® QuietComfort® 15 Acoustic Noise Cancelling® Headphones

They are $215 dollars. They felt like heaven around my ears and sounded great but I was wondering what you guys thought in regards to video editing etc.
