  • Thanks a lot! Especially for #1. I would have never thought of that.
    This is great. Thanks again,

    Jorge

  • Thanks, Adam!
I turned on the 3D for the track, but I got lost here: along the Z plane too.
I am sorry, but what can I do once the 3D has been turned on for the track? Where do I go?
    Thanks again,

    Jorge

    Mike,
Thanks so much for such a detailed answer!
I have Vegas 7, by the way.
One dumb question. You said: once you click on the link I provided, do a Ctrl+A (select all) and a Ctrl+C (copy). Then open up Notepad and do a Ctrl+V (Paste).
But did you mean: once you open the file saved? Because when I click on the link that you posted, it just offers me to open, save or cancel. I tried to just open it, but it didn’t work. So I just saved it. Once it is saved, I can open it with Notepad.

By the way, is there a web-site with more available/free scripts? It would be great to see what other options are out there!

    Thanks again,

    Jorge

    Thanks for the explanation, Jr!

Mike, I’m sorry if this sounds stupid, but I opened the FourPoints script file and I am confused. First, wich program should I use to open it? What is it about?
    Thanks a lot, guys!

And by the way, what does Automation Write (latch) mean? What does it do?

Awesome! Both options worked perfectly. I was just going to ask you how to insert different points to turn the volume up or down. But I saw that right clicking on the clip gives you the option. This is great, guys! Thanks a lot!

    Thanks a lot!
I placed the cursor in the trimmer window, hit “a” and it worked just perfectly. It is nice to know the shortcuts.
    I TRULY appreciate your help,

I think I just figured it out! I just needed to click on the icon that says: Add Media Up To Cursor.
Isn’t that right? If there’s a better way, let me know. But this seemed to work perfectly!
    Thanks a lot!

Thanks for the double reply, Theo!
I tried the second option (right clicking on the insert and selecting (SYNC TRACK VIEW SELECTION TIME FROM (or UP) CURSOR). But nothing happened. On the trimmer window a portion of the clip was selected. But that was it.
Am I doing something wrong? Or am I just not doing everything I need?
I have the feeling that now the selected portion of the clip in the trimmer window needs to be spliced into the timeline, but when I tried to drag it, it didn’t work. How can I do that?
Or is there anything that I am missing? Thanks so much!

    Thanks for your reply, John.
I just tested it and it works very well, but not being able to lock a whole track is not the best way to work.
    Oh well… thanks again!
