MacPro, DeckLink HD Extreme 2, 720p50 does not work. It plays right speed a second and then slows down. It’s not ready yet. Hoping for beta 4 sooooon – it’s ben a while now seens beta 3 came – first they came fast; 1,2, and 3.
It may not be BM’s fault – the video out is still beta from Apple – maybe BM have done all they can and now whaits for FCPX update. I dont know. We will never know i suppose.
Still have to use FCP7 when putting out broadcast – when cutting in FCPX i use the graphic card like before (show viewer on second display). -

Maybe the CPU in the Ki Pro is too weak for some functions? FireWire to a Mac for example?

Why does a program crash cause of a corrupt file? Is it possible to make the program just ignore a corrupt file? Maybe even make a note about it and it’s location? So after import you just get list of files that CatDV refused to import cause of corruption or whatever? Isn’t that the normal routin for other programs importing files?

If I make new presets with Motion 5 the problem is there again – when i remove them it’s all ok again. So – it has nothing to do with old presets from Motion 3 or 4. And it’s not an issue just for presets with 25 fps – I’ve tryed with 30 fps presets and the blue death is there again. It’s a serious bug.

Are you still doing stuff in 4:3 in USA? In Europe it’s totally dead since many years. It’s all 16:9 here. Is there broadcasting in 4:3 in the States?

Add ability to chose any pixel dimensions for project – any aspect ratios – not just the standards. Projection industry is boomong – theatres and other needs projection dimensions and forms that we never seen before on this planet :-D.

I havn’t hard tested yet…but it seems like the 8.0 update of drivers fixed this issue. 🙂

Update 7.9.6 did NOT fix the problem. Com’on Blackmagic! Fix it!
