Hi Joseph,
What are the camera settings you’re using? Are you using the comp camera? Are you wanting a depth of field effect?

Hi April,
You are correct in your explanation – think of AE and Invigorator or ProAnimator as parallel universes. They are not the same 3D space.
Depending on what’s happening in your project, you can fake it to a degree. The option you choose depends on what you’re trying to accomplish. For example, you could take a rendered movie of your ProAnim/Invigorator objects, make that a 3d layer and place it in the AE 3D world. So long as it always stays correctly oriented to the camera in distance and angle, the illusion could work.
Another option – you could map what’s going on in AE to planes to move the AE stuff into the Invig/PA universe.
There are more – exactly what are you trying to accomplish?

Judy,
Having seen your file now, I think the problem is that the second pose is not the same as the ending state of the first pose, to which an action has been applied. To solve the problem, I used the first pose to do the rotation then turned off animation in the following transition. That keeps the halo from trying to go back to its first position. I’ve sent you the file.
Does this help?

Hi Donovan,
Why not create the starting pose and a second pose where the text is in the forward position. Then duplicate the first pose and slide it to the end of the line to make it the ending pose. Use the arch controls to make the “hop forward” between the pose 1 and 2 and the “hop backward” between poses 3 and 4. You can change the duration of the middle pose to determine how long the text stays put before it hops back into position.
Does this help?

Hi Judy,
Did you find it? The ease controls are visible when you select a transition segment, not when you choose the ending pose.

Okay… now some more questions.
Where is the easing happening? You can adjust the amount of ease by using advanced mode and the ‘ease amount’ slider in the timing section. Move the Ease Amount to zero.

Judy,
Which app are you using – Invigorator or ProAnimator?

Hi Simka,
Bevels can be applied to inner and outer edges but cannot be applied to front and rear faces in Invigorator. Your best bets are to make the front and rear face very small (or even turn off visibility and manipulate the bevel size and offset. If that doesn’t work, you can use other 3D modelers and import the object into Invigorator for animation.

Mario,
Use the default chrome material and assign your movie to the reflection channel, rather than the normal material color channel. You can then use the reflectivity slider to back off from the full-intensity colors.
