I have an animation that is easing (slowing) at the end of it, a tumbling ring, and I’ve turned off everything I can find to make it stop… any suggestions?

    Judy,

Which app are you using – Invigorator or ProAnimator?

Pro-animator, the stand-alone version not the AE plug-in.

    Okay… now some more questions.

Where is the easing happening? You can adjust the amount of ease by using advanced mode and the ‘ease amount’ slider in the timing section. Move the Ease Amount to zero.

It’s a tumbling ring. The ease happens at the end of the motion.
I’m not seeing an ‘easing’ menu anywhere. Will keep looking.

    Hi Judy,

Did you find it? The ease controls are visible when you select a transition segment, not when you choose the ending pose.

Hi Jon! I found it and indeed have all the ease settings on 0, yet it is still easing.
I wondered if I could send you the project to look at.

    Judy,

Having seen your file now, I think the problem is that the second pose is not the same as the ending state of the first pose, to which an action has been applied. To solve the problem, I used the first pose to do the rotation then turned off animation in the following transition. That keeps the halo from trying to go back to its first position. I’ve sent you the file.

    Does this help?

    Jon
