    I’ve done that.

So is there no way to lose the interlaced lines? They are very noticeable. I’ve done many standard dv 60i videos and they’ve never seemed this noticeable. But I could be so used to 30P, since I’ve been working exclusively with that for 4 months.

It was a 2 camera shoot also and the other one is 30P so my best scenario is to put it on a 60i timeline and deinterlace the 60i footage? The 30P footage looks great on a 60i sequence but very pixelated on a 30P sequence. why?

Can I do it on this site? How?

Or another site? I’ll do it just let me know how please.

It’s an hour long clip so i’ll have to recapture it anyways.

    Thanks.

Unfortunately that did not work either.

I made a 30P sequence and a 60i sequence and again same problem. The more I watch the footage on the camera however the more I think it is 60i, but that confuses more cause that should make it simple to capture.

When you watch the footage in quicktime it looks interlaced which makes me think it could be a capturing issue but I’ve tried every capture preset possible.

Any suggestions would still be greatly appreciated….

When you say the field dominance of my clip do you mean the capture settings?

If so I’ve done that and it comes down to pixelated narrow lines (No field dominance) or interlaced lines when I select a field.

I am having the same problem. My footage was shot on a DVX100B 30P. I’ve captured in so many different ways but definitely easy setup dv ntsc on so many different timeline settings and I either get interlaced lines or I select no fields and get a more pixelated image.
